Treasure of rubies, High Jewelry collection which was unveiled for the very first time in Thailand. The High Jewelry Maison Van Cleef & Arpels has brought together more than 3,000 carats of certified rubies in an ensemble of more than 50 unique creations. This collection showcases the beauty and a majesty of this extremely rare stone which took more several years to gather. The dinner was attended by worldwide press and VIP guest such as Chanya Sawangjit.
The quest for exceptional gems has inspired the Maison ever since its foundation, notably with the Arpels brothers’ numerous voyages to India and the Far East from the 1950s to the 1970s. Rubies have frequently occupied a special place in the history of the Maison: from a flower with vermilion petals to a scarlet ribbon or a purple paisley motif, they reflect Van Cleef & Arpels’ inspirations in a palette of glowing red.
Today, with the Treasure of rubies collection, Van Cleef & Arpels is continuing the journey to reveal an imaginary world full of elegance and poetry.
